THE RUNDOWN

  Brother in-laws Bradley Charles (Guitar/Vocals) and Stu Byrd (Percussion) have been performing together since 2009, playing bars, festivals, and private parties in Columbus, Georgia and surrounding areas. The Jack Banks Special are known for their eccentric stage presence and their versatility accompanied by AJ Reese (Guitar/Vocals) and Mike “Smitty” Smith (Bass Guitar). 

  The Country/ Rock band could technically be considered Americana the way they incorporate various styles of music into their performance, for instance they may start a set with Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Charlie Daniels and end it with Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, and Drivin’ N’ Cryin’, Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffett, etc…

  They are not afraid to turn it up a notch either! before the night is up you can hear the likes of Ted Nugent, Foo Fighters, Sublime, and even some Weezer; but whether it is Country, Blues, or Rock music The Jack Banks Special have a knack for making the songs their own. 

 The Jack Banks Special have three singles streaming everywhere online and are currently in the process of recording their first studio album.
